# FX Tiles

FX Tiles (also known as **ESP Tiles**) are used to perform standard FX trading operations such as executing Spot and Forward trades. Exchange rates are displayed clearly on an FX tile showing up-to-date rates across two currencies. Once a user has set all the required input parameters and provided a desired trade amount, they can simply click on a desired rate while it is being streamed to instantly execute a trade.

An FX tile can be switched to reveal pricing ladders. For example, a user can switch an FX Tile to show a 'Volume' ladder, where prices are displayed according to different volume bands. A tile can also be switched into a Forward ladder that displays data for trading currencies at different settlement dates:
