# Dump

Configuration items for the generation of the Caplin Platform fields file for Refinitiv fields.

## field-file-location

**Type**: String

**Default**: None

The full path to the field file. The file is written on startup of the TREP adapter.

We recommend that you only set this field after installing the adapter or after upgrading your RTDS installation. For more information on the generation of the fields file, see [Generating Caplin configuration](trep-generating-configuration.md).
